MSU Comics Forum 2020

My second MSU Comics Forum is here!!

This year’s Forum is different as we are trying to call attention to the scope and depth of conversation inspired by comics by starting a series of research roundtables. From my perspective, we have a long legacy of critical conversations about popular culture at MSU and a number of faculty and graduate students engaging with those subjects. In part, this is why is so easy for us to put together the Graphic Possibilities Research Workshop. Most of the programming is building on established areas of conversation and engagement. We were lucky to have Nick Sousanis conduct a workshop with our graduate students already.

I’m looking forward to the a busy conference!
